Giving Back

We believe it’s important to support the area in which we live and work, and we hope to instill that importance in our future professionals. Giving back to the community through philanthropy and volunteerism is an integral part of the values both practiced and taught at The TEMPLE Annapolis: A Paul Mitchell Partner School.

Getting Involved

As The TEMPLE Annapolis: A Paul Mitchell Partner School becomes a part of our new hometown, we will be connecting with community leaders and organizations to develop programs such as these already implemented in other areas of Maryland:

Raising Dollars and Nurturing Volunteerism

Through our Donate Love fund, teams and future professionals have raised over $200,000 for local and national organizations. They also bring many nonprofit organizations into the school to educate students on how to give back and support the community thru volunteerism.

Since 2005, we have volunteered in raising funds, providing services and donating gift certificates or beauty products with more than 100 nonprofit organizations. In just the last year we worked with the following organizations:

  • Advocates for the Homeless
  • Hope Alive
  • Pan Can
  • Goodwill Industries
  • Boys & Girls Clubs
  • The Claggett Center
  • The Cultural Arts Center
  • Frederick County Public Schools
  • The Weinberg Center for the Arts
  • The Frederick Arts Council
  • Critters for a Cure
  • Downtown Frederick Partnership
  • Frederick Memorial Hospital
  • The Women to Women Mentoring Program of Frederick County
  • Goodwill, Inc.
  • The Mental Health Association

FUNraiser Campaign

13 Years, $16.7 Million! Paul Mitchell Schools’ FUNraising History

Through our partnership with PMAE, we have been able to work with many other national fund-raising campaigns during the Paul Mitchell annual 9-week FUNraiser campaign, which has raised over $11.2 million through bake sales, fashion shows, cut-a-thons, grassroots outreach and other activities.  The TEMPLE Annapolis supports:

  • The Chamber of Anne Arundel County
  • The Lighthouse Project
  • Operation Second Chance
  • Anne Arundel Public Schools Safe & Sane Programs
  • What’s Up Media
  • Anne Arundel County Women’s Giving Circle
