Tips to be Successful

Be on time for your guest
If you arrive 15 minutes early, you are on time.  If you arrive on time, you are late! A guest should never have to wait for you.  Respecting your guest’s time is really important.  Life does happen, and you will find yourself running behind schedule.  Utilize your service desk, and ask them to call your guest as a courtesy to their time.

Be professional
Eyes are always on you in your workspace, and you never know who might be a potential customer. But, when you stay professional, things will fall into place.

Be consistent
Guests love consistency in your work, your attitude, and your prices! If something is going to be different in your charges, be sure to let your guest know up front to avoid any miscommunication.

Know your guest
It’s important to ask your guest lots of questions about their lifestyle and their personal style. The better you know them, the better you can anticipate their needs.

Pay attention to the details
Make sure their cut is on point and their color is up to date. Suggest new styles or new techniques that would compliment them. Guests sometimes want a change and if you don’t do it, another stylist will!

Take Home
Make sure your guest has what they need to protect their hair investment. Even a change in shampoo and conditioner can make a world of difference.

Re-booking
Re-booking your guest guarantees your future success! Be sure that your guest has an appointment 6-8 weeks in advance.
